This card is not only a student ID card - it's also used for printing, copying, scanning & more.


How to apply for the card

Step by step

You have to pay the students union fee / tuition fees before you can apply for the student ID card.

  1. Log into UNIGRAZonline: https://online.uni-graz.at 
     
  2. Upload a photo of yourself by clicking on "StudentCard Image Upload"
    Passport-sized photo in high resolution, make sure you are recognizable on the photo!
     
  3. Once you have uploaded the photo, you can apply for the card by clicking on "apply for student ID card"
     
  4. After 4-5 working days, you can collect the student ID card in person at the Academic Affairs  during their office times (see website).

Activating your card

You have to go to a service point to activate your card.

In order to use your card, you have to activate it at one of the service points:

  • 24/7 area next to the university library (Universitätsplatz 3a) - ground floor
  • ReSowi building (Universitätsstraße 15) - entrance hall of the ReSoWi-library
  • ReSowi building section GE - in front of the servicedesk of the UNI-IT
  • ÖH-Servicecenter (Harrachgasse 23)
  • CE University Centre WALL (Merangasse 70)

Please note: you have to extend the validity of your card every semester at one of these service points.


Functions

You can use the card:
- for printing / scanning / copying on campus
- as library card
- to access areas that are restricted to students/staff
- as student ID to get discounts for students
