Re-registration for studies

Students who spend two semesters at the University of Graz (one-year exchange) or full degree students have to re-register.

To re-register at the University of Graz you need to pay your Austrian Students’ Union fee (and if applicable: tuition fee) on time. If you do not, you will not be able to sit any exams or take any further courses, and you will be automatically exmatriculated.

Payment deadlines:

31 October for the winter semester
31 March for the summer semester

How to re-register:

Step 1: pay your Austrian Students’ Union fee by credit card or bank transfer: further details are available in your UNIGRAZonline account under “Tuition fees”.
Step 2: approximately one week after payment you will be able to renew your UNIGRAZCard for the second semester at one of the ServicePoints on campus.
