Exchange students:

• You must be present for the mandatory welcome week.
• If you want to take an intensive German course, you have to arrive in early February/early September the latest.
• If you arrive prior to the start of your accommodation agreement, don't forget to arrange additional accommodation by yourself (e.g. hotel, youth hostel, etc.)
• Check out the relevant dates in the academic calendar

International students (full degree) are advised to arrive:

• in late August or early September for the winter semester, or
• in late January or early February for the summer semester.

There are no mandatory orientation or welcome events for full degree students from abroad.
