Finishing the enrollment at Uni Graz
All students have to complete a personal enrollment procedure after arriving in Graz.
For degree-seeking students
This information is only relevant for international degree-seeking students & Joint Programme students with entrance university at University of Graz.
After having received your admission letter
With your letter of admission, you can apply for a residence permit from abroad (if necessary), or directly travel to Austria to finish the personal enrollment procedure. Please note that you must have received your letter of admission to finish the enrollment procedure.
- Fill out online data sheet - not applicable to Joint Programme Students with entrance University of Graz
- Signing enrollment papers & payment of student union fee/tuition fee
At this step you also have to pay the student union fee (20,70€) and, if required, the tuition fee (approx. 748€).- Joint Programme students information is provided in the workflow of the mobility tool (Mobility-Online)
- All other international students have to go to the Academic Affairs office to complete the enrollment with your letter of admission and passport.
- Access to UNIGRAZonline
You will receive a one-time activation pincode for UNIGRAZonline by email within a few days. Please also check your junk mailbox in case you do not receive the pincode within a week. With this pincode, you have to activate your UNIGRAZonline account. Please write down your username, you will need it to log into the system. You can find further insights about UNIGRAZonline and how to sign up for classes under setting up your studies.
For exchange students
After having received the email with payment instructions for the student union fee (ÖH-Beitrag):
You have to make the payment online following the instructions provided via email. You will then sign the enrollment document finalizing the enrollment.
Access to UNIGRAZonline
After payment of the student union fee, students will receive a one-time activation pincode for UNIGRAZonline by email within a few days. Please also check your junk mailbox in case you do not receive the pincode within a week. With this pincode, you have to activate your UNIGRAZonline account. Information for activation of the UNIGRAZonline account and for ordering the UNIGRAZCard are also provided in the Mobility-Online Workflow.
