Co-enrollment at other universities in Graz is possible at no extra cost if academically relevant and agreed to by the exchange student’s home university. Courses taken via co-enrollment at other universities are not included on the Uni Graz transcript. Students will follow the other university’s transcript process to receive the additional transcript. Make sure you check with your home university to see whether they will allow you to co-enroll and will accept and transfer courses on an additional transcript from a university other than University of Graz.
ECTS requirement at University of Graz
Exchange students at University of Graz must complete a minimum of 16 ECTS per semester at the University of Graz. In case the home university has a higher ECTS requirement, exchange students will comply with the ECTS requirement of their home university. Courses taken at other universities in Graz do NOT count towards the required ECTS at University of Graz.
Exceptions:
- Research stay, short term programs, Erasmus+ traineeship – are not required to take courses
- NAWI Graz programs – courses take place and can be taken at both Uni Graz and TU Graz to gain the required number of ECTS
