Students with an EU-residence permit
It may be possible to use your student residence permit for your mobility semester(s) at Uni Graz. The period of stay with your Schengen permit may not exceed 360 days.
Students who are non-EU/EEA nationals but study in the EU (except for Ireland and Denmark) may be allowed to use their EU student residence permit for their mobility semester(s) in Graz. To find out if this is possible, please contact the Austrian embassy in Munich, Ljubljana or Bratislava (choose the one that is closest to your current residence).
Your email should include:
- your acceptance letter: download from Mobility-Online
- your residence permit: back and front side, including additional documents that were issued in connection with the permit
- your passport
- duration of planned stay in Austria (1 or 2 semesters)
Ask the embassy if it is possible to use the residence permit for your studies in Austria due to the Student-Researcher Directive of the EU, or if you have to apply for a visa/residence permit.
